Port Abort Valletta, Malta

On the morning of Apr 7th, 2022, we approached Valletta, Malta, in the middle of a very windy front. You can see the waves tossing!

As we moved closer and the sun moved higher the details on shore grew clearer. We looked forward to seeing up close some of these sights! Interesting office buildings,…

… and an interesting walled city with some beautiful churches!

We could see the port. About this time the Captain came out with the announcement – due to excessively high winds our entry into the narrow port is not safe.  Our visit is cancelled.  Whirled!

We turn out and head for our next port.

Farewell, Valletta! Next port – Ashdod, Israel!
