Port 91 Le Verdon, France

Bonjour,

We came in to Le Verdon early, under gray skies again.

We get our tugboat assist about the same time as the pilot boat arrives!

A short while later we are snugging up to our pier in Le Verdon!

This is a short port, only here for a few hours while the ship clears for entrance into the river. This is a standard paper-chase. So we’re not going ashore.

The town is about a half-mile away. This church is about all we see, but from the top deck a few more buildings are visible through the trees.

At noon we push off from the pier!

And we’re off for part 2 of today’s cruise adventure, heading down river toward Bordeaux! I’ll put some of the river photos in the Bordeaux report!

Au revoir, Le Verdon! Next stop – Bordeaux!
